From September 30 to October 1, 2025, the \u201cData Stewardship goes Germany workshop\u201d (DSgG) took place at the KIT Library. This year’s meeting was organized by the Team RDM@KIT\u00a0at KIT Library<\/a>\u00a0 and the Research Data Management Working Group of the TU9 Alliance<\/a> (TU9 RDM) in cooperation with FIZ Karlsruhe<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Participants<\/a>This year’s workshop focused on \u201cData Stewardship in Day-to-Day Research Activities \u2013 Use Cases and Best Practices\u201d and was fully booked with nearly 70 participants. The workshop program included nine talks, four thematically structured working groups, and over 25 poster presentations.\"Participants<\/a><\/p>\n

The talks, working groups, and poster presentations encouraged discussion and the exchange of\u00a0best practices in data handling and research support.<\/p>\n

Starting in 2026, the DSgG workshop series, initiated by the TU9 libraries, will be organised independently by the data steward community. The next workshop will take place from September 28 to 29, 2026 at the University of Cologne.<\/p>\n
