Great news: KITopen now available in English!

As the saying goes, “Good things come to those who wait”, we are happy to announce that English-speaking users can now enter their data and control their publication lists in the central repository of KIT in their mother tongue.

All web interfaces of KITopen have been translated and therefore the applicability of KITopen is even more extended. With just one mouse click at the top right of the KITopen screen, the language can easily be changed at any time.

But there are even more good news: KIT Library also undertook great effort in connecting the login of KITopen to the central identity management of KIT. Therefore the login via library card is no longer needed. Each KIT employee now has access with his/her individual KIT account.

Tolle Neuigkeiten: KITopen jetzt auch auf Englisch verfügbar!

Gemäß dem Sprichwort “Gut Ding will Weile haben”, freuen wir uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können: Englischsprachige Benutzerinnen und Benutzer können ab sofort im zentralen Repository des KIT ihre Daten in ihrer Muttersprache eingeben und auch ihre Publikationslisten lassen sich jetzt auf Englisch verwalten.

Alle Web-Oberflächen von KITopen wurden übersetzt. Damit wurde die Anwenderfreundlichkeit von KITopen weiter ausgebaut. Mit nur einem Mausklick oben rechts auf dem KITopen-Bildschirm lässt sich die Sprache jederzeit leicht ändern.

Aber es gibt noch weitere gute Nachrichten: Die KIT-Bibliothek unternahm große Anstrengungen, um den Login von KITopen mit dem zentralen Identitätsmanagement des KIT zu verbinden. Damit entfällt die Anmeldung mit dem Bibliotheksausweis. Alle KIT-Beschäftigten haben jetzt Zugriff mit ihrem individuellen KIT-Konto.
