From September 30 to October 1, 2025, the “Data Stewardship goes Germany workshop” (DSgG) took place at the KIT Library. This year’s meeting was organized by the Team RDM@KIT at KIT Library  and the Research Data Management Working Group of the TU9 Alliance (TU9 RDM) in cooperation with FIZ Karlsruhe.

The workshop program included nine talks, four thematically structured working groups, and over 25 poster presentations.Participants of the Data Stewardship goes Germany 2025 workshop during a working group session in a seminar room at the KIT Library. One person presents the talk “RADAR: Research Data Repository” by FIZ Karlsruhe, while several attendees sit at tables with laptops and listen.

The talks, working groups, and poster presentations encouraged discussion and the exchange of best practices in data handling and research support.

Starting in 2026, the DSgG workshop series, initiated by the TU9 libraries, will be organised independently by the data steward community. The next workshop will take place from September 28 to 29, 2026 at the University of Cologne.
