Job description
You will support us in the EU project “aUPaEU”, founded on the cooperation of five academic institutions from two European alliances within the European Universities Initiative, EPiCUR and Unite! in order to set up a coaching platform for open science services. The platform is part of a coordinated development programme for accelerating research and innovation at universities, their alliances and umbrella organisations.

Setting up, evaluation and strategic further development of the coaching platform
- Strategic evaluation and discipline-specific selection of best practice examples from the field of Open Science in the science sector as well as in the non-university sector (economics, citizen science).
- Selection of resources and technical tools (e.g. repositories) and coaching offers (e.g. for career development) for implementation in the coaching platform
- Designing, conducting and systematically evaluating user surveys and implementing user feedback for the strategic development of the platform’s content
- Design of a strategy for the involvement of industry and the public regarding the set-up and subsequent use of the coaching platform
Development of a guideline for the promotion of Open Science
- Drawing up concepts for the promotion of Open Science and innovation in the European framework by strategically integrating factors and actors that inhibit or already promote Open Science and digital transformation
- Evaluation of the coaching platform’s offerings in terms of effectiveness for digital transformation and in building up open science infrastructures
- Creating a guideline on how to support networks of universities, companies and other actors towards the implementation of a sustainability agenda and the creation of an open science community
Personal qualification
You should have:
- A completed academic degree (Master’s/Diploma (University/Applied Sciences)) in the field of economics or social sciences or comparable
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Experience in science management
- Experience in setting up open science infrastructures
- Willingness to contribute to a team of different European partners
Salary
Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
