Präsentation “How to Get Published in a Research Journal” and “Introduction to Mendeley” am 12.03.2015
The KIT Library invites everyone interested in scholarly publishing to a public presentation by the academic publishing company Elsevier. The presentation will be held in English and will be split in two parts:
How to Get Published in a Research Journal
Speaker: Henri van Dorssen (Executive Publisher, Elsevier)
Key topics that will be discussed in the presentation include:
- Introduction to scholarly publishing
- Best ways to prepare your manuscript
- Understanding the process of structuring your article
- How to get your paper noticed
Introduction to Mendeley
Speaker: Anja Zimmermann (Customer Consultant, Elsevier)
Mendeley is a cross-platform application (Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone) that helps researchers manage and annotate their scientific paper collections.
Researchers can also set up collaborative projects, work and discuss in groups, and share data on Mendeley’s web platform.
