Neue Publikationsvereinbarungen mit ACM, RSC, Nature und Taylor & Francis // New publication agreements with ACM, RSC, Nature and Taylor & Francis

Zum neuen Jahr bietet die KIT-Bibliothek den Forschenden des KIT durch weitere Vereinbarungen mit Verlagen noch mehr Unterstützung beim Open-Access-Publizieren.

Hinzugekommen sind ab 2024 Publikationsvereinbarungen mit folgenden Verlagen:

• Korrespondenzautorinnen- und Autoren des KIT haben bei der ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) im Rahmen des Programms ACM Open die Möglichkeit zur unbegrenzten Open-Access-Veröffentlichung in den Hybrid- und Gold-Open-Access Journalen des Verlages. Die Kosten trägt die KIT-Bibliothek aus ihrem Literaturbudget.
• In den „Nature-Branded-Journals“ können KIT-Forschende als Korrespondenzautorinnen und -autoren ab diesem Jahr mit Unterstützung der KIT-Bibliothek ihre Artikel im Open Access veröffentlichen. Die Kosten trägt die KIT-Bibliothek aus ihrem Literaturbudget.
• Bei RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry) werden ab diesem Jahr die Publikationskosten („Articel Processing Charges“) für alle hybriden und Gold-Open-Access-Artikel vollständig durch die KIT-Bibliothek übernommen.
• Neu hinzugekommen ist eine Vereinbarung mit Taylor & Francis. Die KIT-Bibliothek übernimmt die Publikationskosten („Article Processing Charges“) für Open Access-Publikationen von Korrespondenzautorinnen und -autoren des KIT in allen über 2.000 Taylor & Francis Journalen.

In the new year, the KIT Library is offering KIT researchers even more support for Open Access publishing through further agreements with publishers.

Publication agreements with the following publishers have been added from 2024:

• KIT corresponding authors have the opportunity for unlimited open access publication in ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) hybrid and gold open access journals as part of the ACM Open program. The costs are covered by the KIT library’s literature budget.
• In the “Nature-Branded-Journals”, KIT researchers can publish their articles in Open Access as corresponding authors with the support of the KIT library starting this year. The KIT library will cover the costs from its literature budget.
• At RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry), the publication costs (“Articel Processing Charges”) for all hybrid and Gold Open Access articles will be fully covered by the KIT library from this year onwards.
• A new agreement with Taylor & Francis has been added. The KIT Library covers the publication costs (“Article Processing Charges”) for Open Access publications by KIT corresponding authors in all of the more than 2000 Taylor & Francis journals.
