Beitritt der HKA zum DEAL-Vertrag mit Elsevier // HKA joins DEAL contract with Elsevier
Die Hochschule Karlsruhe (HKA) ist zum 1.1.2024 dem deutschlandweiten DEAL-Vertrag mit dem Verlag Elsevier beigetreten:
- Lese-Zugriff auf nahezu das gesamte Zeitschriftenportfolio von Elsevier sowie weitere Zeitschriften von Cell Press und The Lancet (über 2.500 Titel) im Netz der HKA.
- Open Access-Publikationsmöglichkeiten in rund 1.800 hybriden Zeitschriften (Inhalte erscheinen gegen Zahlung einer Zusatzgebühr im Open Access) für Korrespondenzautorinnen und -autoren der HKA.
- 20% Rabatt auf Publikationsgebühren für Korrespondenzautorinnen und -autoren der HKA in rund 630 reinen Open-Access-Zeitschriften („Gold Open Access”) 15% Rabatt auf Publikationsgebühren bei weiteren ca. 30 Gold-OA-Titeln von „Cell Press” und „The Lancet”.

Hochschule Karlsruhe – University of Applied Sciences has joined the national DEAL contract with the publisher Elsevier as of January 1, 2024:
- Read access to almost the entire Elsevier journal portfolio as well as other journals from Cell Press and The Lancet (over 2,500 titles) in the HKA network.
- Open access publication options in around 1,800 hybrid journals (content appears in open access against payment of an additional fee) for HKA corresponding authors.
- 20% discount on publication fees for HKA corresponding authors in around 630 pure Open Access journals (“Gold Open Access”) and 15% discount on publication fees for a further 30 Gold OA titles from “Cell Press” and “The Lancet”.
